Das Jagdschloß Herdringen

Das Rittergut Herdringen wurde erstmals 1376 urkundlich erwähnt. Heute noch vorzufinden ist der aus dem Jahre 1844 stammende Neubau des Schlosses mit barocker Vorburg. Der im englischen Stil vorhandene Schlosspark dient nun als Fläche für Dammwild. Das Jagdschloss gilt als eines der bedeutendsten neugotischen Profanbauten in Westfalen.

The area of the english styled palace garden is know used for fallow deers. The castle is deemed to be one of the most significant neo-gothic profane buildings in Westphalia.
